Winnipeg Jewish Theatre (WJT) is casting for the first production of our 25/26 season, JOB The Play.

Rehearsals Begin: Monday, August 18, 2025
Performances: September 11-21, 2025

SYNOPSIS:
After a viral workplace incident, Jane finds herself on mandatory leave from her Big Tech job. Her return hinges on sessions with a therapist - one who suspects her job may be more harmful than helpful. A razor-sharp psychological thriller about ambition, burnout, and the digital forces shaping our lives.

ROLES:

JANE – a high-strung woman who has cracked under the extreme pressure from her complicated job. Her unpredictable nature and unstable outward temperament hides a broken and confused person trying to make sense of a world she knows is cruel beyond measure. Female presenting. Able to play 25-35.

LOYD – has a calm demeanour about him, someone who can seem to sedate any situation, with his steely and measured temperament. He is disarming and kind, but beneath it all lies something that seems just the slightest bit off; as if he himself carries a secret or burden he hopes stays hidden. Male Presenting. Able to play 55-70.

Those who are unable to attend auditions in Winnipeg will be encouraged to submit a taped video audition.
