"Love at first write"

When two strangers meet by letter writing during World War II, a love story begins. Tony Award-winning playwright Ken Ludwig (Lend Me a Tenor, Crazy For You) tells the joyous, heartwarming story of his parent’s courtship. It does not go according to plan.

Dear Jack, Dear Louise will be performed in an open-sided canvas tent on the Asper Jewish Community Campus field with socially distanced reserved seating to ensure the comfort and safety of our patrons.  Tickets are on sale starting August 6th and can be purchased on our website or by calling WJT's Box office at 204-477-7478.

The play is approximately 90 minutes with no intermission. The performers will be amplified with microphones to ensure the optimal listening experience for our audiences. Free parking is available across the street at the AJCC parking lot, and access to the campus restrooms will be granted to all ticket holders. Tickets will be issued by email only.

Winnipeg Jewish Theatre is adhering to the Public Health mandates put in place by the province of Manitoba. We have consulted with Public Health and are following their guidance for the run of Dear Jack, Dear Louise.
