Dear WJT Community,
As the weather begins to change (slowly, but surely), we are eagerly anticipating a return to live theatre back in the tent at the Asper Jewish Community Campus. We also have some exciting news to share with you.
Due to the pandemic and scheduling conflicts of key artists, WJT is no longer able to present our planned production of Queens Girl in the World by Caleen Sinnette Jennings. We are hoping to bring this wonderful work to the stage in a future season. In the meantime, we are thrilled to announce a replacement show to our summer season line-up:
We cannot wait to share this joyous, life-affirming, show with you! Chutzpah and Salsa will run in the tent June 27- July 3, after the previously announced production of The Flying Lovers of Vitebsk by Daniel Jamieson, which runs June 9 - 19.
Tickets to both productions go on sale to subscribers on April 20th and the general public on May 1. For more information, including performance dates and times, please visit WJT.ca.
This is a special summer season filled to the brim with music, love, laughter, and community spirit, I look forward to experiencing it with all of you!
