Winnipeg Jewish Theatre is proud to announce the establishment of the Saul & Rose Knight Fund, created in November 2025 by the Knight family in loving memory of Rose Knight (z”l). Rose had a deep love for theatre and was a passionate advocate for a vibrant, thriving Jewish cultural landscape in Winnipeg. This new fund ensures that her vision continues to flourish for generations to come.

The Saul & Rose Knight Fund directly supports WJT’s ability to pursue the highest standard of artistry, education, and community engagement. From new play development, to school programming, to powerful productions that spark conversation and connection, this fund helps pave the way for WJT to remain a vital home for creativity, community, and compassion in Manitoba.

All contributions to this fund are fully eligible for a charitable tax receipt, and every gift, no matter the size, makes a meaningful impact in sustaining Jewish arts and storytelling in our province.

A Giving Tuesday Celebration: Your Gift, Doubled

To mark the launch of the Saul & Rose Knight Fund, the Knight family has generously committed to matching all donations made to WJT throughout December 2025, up to $5,000. That means that every dollar you give this Giving Tuesday (December 2, 2025) and beyond has twice the impact!
