Donations The Winnipeg Jewish Theatre gratefully accepts donations to help offset the operating costs of the theatre. The following are our categories of support:

A new way to support contemporary Jewish Theatre! An ideal way to celebrate a special occasion, congratulate a Bar or Bat Mitzvah, welcome the birth of a child, recognize an anniversary, show appreciation, wish a speedy recovery, or honour the memory of a loved one. After receiving your donation, WJT will immediately forward a tribute card to the recipient of your choice. Do a mitzvah without leaving your home or office. Call us at (204) 477-7515.

In 1991 a future minded Board of Directors of WJT created the Winnipeg Jewish Theatre Endowment Trust. The purpose of the trust was to establish a permanent pool of capital administered by the Jewish Foundation in perpetuity with the annual income generated from the fund to be distributed to WJT to support its annual operating costs. Since its inception in 1991 the Endowment Trust has grown to $630,000 which currently generates approximately $30,150 each year towards the annual operating costs of WJT. The Endowment Trust is an important source of revenue for WJT and is separate from our annual membership campaign. As with all of Winnipeg's vibrant arts organizations, ticket sales generate only a small part of the revenue required to deliver the kind of professional and exciting productions that our patrons demand and deserve.
Whether you commit to an endowment gift of $1000 or $10,000 your gift will make a difference and help ensure the continuity of WJT - the only professional Jewish Theatre Company in Canada. Your commitment may be made by a pledge to the Endowment Trust of an amount payable over a number of years, preferably not more than 5 - and can be added to at any time - to mark a special life cycle event or as a bequest in your will. Advertising in a WJT program is a great way to reach a very desirable demographic of Winnipeg's influencers and decision makers. It's also a great way to support the Theatre.
